Mobile tyre help in Bern, where you are

Bern wraps its UNESCO Old Town in a loop of the river Aare, with the Federal Palace above and motorways meeting just outside. It is a city of embassies and internationals — and a flat tyre here shouldn't mean a garage phone call in German. We are preparing a mobile service that comes to the car and works in English.

What we do, right where you are

We repair repairable punctures with a plug or a combined patch-plug, and replace damaged tyres in pairs. It all happens on site: a car park near the centre, a safe kerbside in Köniz or Ostermundigen, or a motorway service area on the A1 or A6.

The area we cover around Bern

Planned coverage takes in the city of Bern and its neighbours: Köniz, Ostermundigen, Muri, Ittigen and Zollikofen, along the A1, A6 and A12.

How long does it take?

Timing depends on the nearest available partner and is given honestly on the call. Bern mixes a tight old centre with fast motorway links, so we give you a realistic window rather than a blanket figure.

On the motorway? On the A1, A6 or A12 around Bern, never change a wheel on the hard shoulder. Get behind the crash barrier, high-vis on, triangle out, and call 140. We step in once the car is safe.

The local picture in Bern

The arcaded cobbles of the Old Town and the kerbs along the Aare are hard on sidewalls, and the bridges catch the frost early. A gradual loss of pressure, caught early, often saves the tyre.

Price & payment

The CHF price is quoted before we set off — no surprise surcharge. See the pricing page. Tyres are fitted in pairs (2, 4 or 6).

Bern: your questions

Is the service in English?

Yes — it's built for English-speaking residents and visitors. Get in touch in English and describe where you are and what's happened to the tyre.

Can you come to the Old Town?

Yes, if the spot is safe to work in. The arcaded, cobbled lanes can limit vehicle access, so give us the exact location and we'll judge whether it's workable.

Do you repair or replace?

We repair when it's repairable (a clean hole in the tread) and replace in pairs when a tyre is beyond saving. We explain the choice on site.

Are prices in CHF?

Yes, in Swiss francs, quoted before we set off with no hidden surcharge.
